The next time you're heading out for a night out, wear some facial gems. Crystals and rhinestones make for great eye and lip accessories and give a sparkling effect. You can also apply sugar crystals on the lips. They can be used to accentuate the features of the face. To use: First, clean and dry the area where the crystals are to be pasted on. Use only a special skin glue (not the usual one for paper). Press the stones onto the skin. If you are using them on the lips, first apply your lip stick or lip gloss and then the rhinestones.

Singer Lady Gaga recently wore 'rainbow makeup' on her face — it's makeup in different hues — as she released her new album. The look is also big on the fashion runway. To get it: Use face powder as a base, then use pink eye shadow. Apply an orange eye shadow over it and fade it out with another yellow or green shadow. Use a bold mascara to finish the look. You can also use similar colours in just a section of the face. Seems to be the perfect idea to glam up the dull monsoon!
